Q: What determines 'welshness'?

A: Members should be:

     1. Persons born in Wales, or

    2. Children or Grandchildren of persons born in Wales, or 

    3. Persons who, in the opinion of the Committee, have by reason of residence or otherwise proved themselves to have a genuine association with Welsh affairs.

 

Q: Are official club handicaps necessary?

A: No.  Official club handicaps will be used where necessary, but unofficial handicaps are also used. 

 

Q: Are handicaps maintained by LWGS?

A: Individual handicaps are maintained by the LWGS member.  After winning a cup, members will have their handicap reduced by 2 strokes for a 12 month period. 

 

Q: Is there a cost to join the LWGS?

A: Yes.  There is a £10 annual fee payable by standing order on the 1st December.
